Tour de Charleston is held on the last Saturday of September and offers three different adult race routes along the serene countryside of the Charleston area. Hosted by the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce we are happy to announce the 7th annual Tour de Charleston will be held on September 30th, 2023. The newly added children’s race will start at 8:00 with the three adult races to follow. Food trucks, race day drink specials at Mike & Stans, and local shopping on the square bring a festive atmosphere to this race.
Scare on the Square promotes safe trick or treating for children of Cole’s County. With over forty exhibitors annually handing out candy and promoting their businesses or organizations this event is ever growing. The Canine Costume Contest starts this event with an outdoor movie bringing it to an end. The date for the 2023 Scare on the Square will be October 27th; check back for more updates.
Our Community Update Breakfast is held twice a year in November and April. This event offers Chamber Members and their guests the opportunity to receive an update about the Charleston community. With excellent speakers every year, amazing food, and an ideal environment to make connections, this event is a great opportunity for businesses and organizations to attend.
The Market on the Square hosted by the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of vendors weekly. With over twenty seasonal vendors we have everything from fresh produce, bakery items, artisan goods, and so much more. Charleston’s Market on the Square is every Saturday morning from 7:30 to 10:30 going from early June to late September.
Business After Hours events are hosted by Charleston Area Chamber members. These are fun networking events that allow like-minded business professionals to make connections with the hopes of growing your businesses. Held every second Wednesday of the month at 7:30, “Coffee Time” is a great way to make connections, network, and enjoy some of Charleston’s best coffee. With free coffee & pastries and monthly speakers this event is open to all Chamber Members & friends.
Graciously located at a Jackson Avenue Coffee this event is hosted by the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce and Callahan Law Office.
